My cats mean the world to me, and my family and we can not thank Mutian enough for giving us our baby back.

13 is a black sphynx and was born July 11, 2021. I brought him and his sister home in October of 2021. I noticed from the get-go he was always smaller than his sister (from the same litter) and he was not a very active kitten, but I thought maybe he was just a chill little guy who would rather sleep and cuddle than rough house with the other cats. Around April I noticed that 13 was losing weight even though he was eating all the time and even stole food from our plates. The night before easter I saw his stomach was extremely swollen, my friend who is a vet tech said it could be wet FIP. I never heard of FIP before, so I spent the night looking up what FIP was, and I was terrified learning that it is pretty much a death sentence. My friend came over after easter with a syringe and said if she pulled some fluid from his belly then it's FIP and of course, she got fluid out. My brother said he heard of meds that aren’t available in the US that people get from Facebook groups so I went searching and came across a video on TikTok of a girl who got her meds from a Facebook group, so I immediately joined that group and was connected with someone who I ordered some injectable meds from. This was not Mutian. I thought that because this group had a lot of success stories posted on their group and I watched this person's TikTok that they would be a good group. The injections were horrible, 13 screamed every injection. The group informed me that I would see drastic improvements in 13 within a week. I definitely saw a drastic change in 13 but it was not an improvement. 13 started getting fluid built up in his legs and he had bumps all over his body, the fluid and the lumps would burst open and cause sores that would not heal. The site on his back where I did his first injection turned into an open wound that also would not heal and he started to turn yellow. I messaged the group and they ignored me for a while until I called them out and then I was being harassed with horrible messages from them, all while I was at the emergency vet thinking that I was going to have to say goodbye to my 9-month-old kitten. His liver was failing and the sores all over his body were badly infected and because of the FIP his body couldn’t fight the infection and that is why the sores weren’t healing. As we were in the emergency vet and 13 was getting fluid and pain meds, I posted in a sphynx Facebook group looking for answers or maybe a miracle, and what I got was an angel who had two fip survivors with Mutian who messaged me to tell me about Mutian and introduced me to a Mutian admin. I brought 13 home that night on antibiotics and pain meds and a plan to have Lisa bring me mutation pills for 13. Multiple meds daily took a lot of time and patience for both of us but within a week the sores were healing, and the fluid was going away and his liver was healing!! I found out the injections where literally burning my poor baby from the inside out and they were killing him faster than the FIP was. On July 11, 2022, we celebrated 13 and Jinx’s first birthday and on July 17th 13 finished his 84 day treatment and got a clean bill of health from the vet! The Mutian parent has become a great friend, and I am forever grateful for her for introducing me to the Mutian admin and Mutian . I am also forever grateful for the Mutian admin who has given 13 his life back with the help of Mutian . 13 went from being a sickly kitten who couldn’t play and who could barely meow to now being a chunky 2-year-old who loves to terrorize his sister (who is now smaller than him!). 13’s favorite activity is jumping on my back when I least expect it and at the most inconvenient times which is very fun for him but not so much fun for mommy haha. My cats mean the world to me, and my family and we can not thank Mutian enough for giving us our baby back.
